Lemon Mascarpone Fondant
Ingredients:
200 g mascarpone
150 g sugar
100 g butter
3 eggs
150 g flour
1 sachet baking powder
Juice and zest of 2 lemons
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C 🌟.
2. Butter a 20 cm cake tin 🍰.
3. Melt the butter, then add the mascarpone and mix until smooth.
4. Add the sugar, then add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
5. Add the juice and zest of the lemons, then mix again.
6. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt, then gently stir into the previous mixture.
7. Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the fondant is golden and firm to the touch.
8. Let cool slightly before unmolding. Serve warm or at room temperature, sprinkled with icing sugar if desired.
