How to make homemade onion pie
To make this delicious homemade onion pie we will need:

-500 g potatoes
-30 g butter
-50ml milk
-1 egg
-1C. Salt
-150 gr. Flour

For the filling

– 1 large onion
– 1 carrot
– 1/2 red pepper
– 500 g Mushrooms
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 150 gr. Parmesan cheese
Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Put them in a pot with water and cook until tender.
Once ready, strain it and make a puree. We added butter and milk and started to make the puree. We must try to walk the potatoes very well so that there are no lumps.
Add the egg and mix well.
Season with salt and pepper and start adding the flour, stirring until everything is combined, it will be a bit like the « dough » for the cake. We have booked.
Now let’s start with the filling. Dice the onion and pepper and brown them in a pan with a drizzle of oil.
When you see that it is golden, add the grated carrot and season with salt and pepper. Mix well and cook for a few minutes until the carrot becomes soft and golden. We have booked.
Cut the mushrooms into slices and brown them in another pan with a drizzle of oil. Season with salt and pepper and cook until they are tender. Once ready, remove from the heat and set aside.

Cover with aluminum foil and put in a preheated oven at about 180 ° C for about 50 minutes.
Before the end of the cooking time we remove the film and sprinkle the cheese on top. Put it back in the oven and wait for it to brown. Ready!
