Chocolate salami
Chocolate salami is an Italian dessert without cooking, perfect for those who love simple and delicious desserts. Here is a quick and easy recipe to prepare chocolate salami without cooking:

Ingredients:
200 g of dry biscuits (such as Digestive or similar)
100 g of butter
100 g of sugar
100 g of dark chocolate
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of bitter cocoa powder
1 tablespoon of rum (optional)
Icing sugar (for decoration)
Method:
Preparation of the biscuits:
Crush the dry biscuits in a large bowl, leaving some larger pieces to give a crunchy texture to the chocolate salami.
Preparation of the chocolate mixture:
Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave.
In a separate bowl, beat the butter with the sugar until you obtain a smooth cream.
Add the eggs one at a time, continuing to mix.
Add the melted chocolate and bitter cocoa powder to the butter and sugar mixture. If desired, add rum.
Mixing the ingredients:
Pour the chocolate mixture over the crushed cookies and mix well until the cookies are completely covered in chocolate.
Forming the salami:
Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of baking paper.
Use your hands (or a spoon) to shape the mixture into a salami, compacting it well.
Wrap the “salami” in baking paper and seal the sides well.
Wrap the salami further in aluminum foil to keep it in shape.
Cooling:
Place the chocolate salami in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until it is very solid.
Decorating and serving:
Once solidified, remove the salami from the refrigerator and remove the baking paper and aluminum foil.
Roll the salami in powdered sugar to give the visual effect of real salami.
Slice and serve.

Egg safety: If you prefer not to use raw eggs, you can replace them with 100 ml of sweetened condensed milk. Alternatively, use pasteurized eggs.
