Apple rolls with sugar and cinnamon as from the bakery
ingredients

200 g butter
170 ml milk
3 tablespoons natural yogurt
70 g sugar
1 egg
a little salt
1 cube fresh yeast
1 sachet yeast
650 g flour

120 g butter
4 apples
1 sachet vanilla sugar
For decoration
Sugar if desired
15 g cinnamon
preparation
First prepare a leavened dough for the apple rolls. To do this take about a teaspoon of sugar and dissolve it in warm milk together with the yeast.
Now mix the butter, sugar and salt, add the egg and add the yogurt.
Now mix the flour with the yeast and knead with the milk alternating with the yeast.
Work the dough again with your hands until you get a smooth and malleable mixture, then place it in a covered container in a warm place. Leave to rest for 50 minutes.
Now wash, peel, core and dice the apples.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a floured work surface. Preheat the oven to about 200°C O/U.

Then melt the butter and distribute it on the dough. The rest of the butter will be used for the subsequent decoration. Then distribute the apple cubes on the dough and sprinkle them evenly with vanilla sugar, then roll out the dough tightly lengthwise and then cut it into slices about 3 cm thick. It tastes simply heavenly!
Finally, arrange the slices a little apart on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and bake for about 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, the apple rolls should cool completely.
